God hears your prayers and He answers prayers in three main ways: Yes, no, and wait (maybe). God has a plan, and most often, we don’t see the full picture that He sees He wants us to put our faith in Him and Him alone, you know this. We might find out we have a sickness that can be very serious such as cancer. We may even beg God for it to be benign, but it’s cancerous. Later, we realize God’s plan for that cancerous tumor ensured we grew stronger in our faith and were able to testify to countless others throughout our healing proves, ultimately bringing dozens more to Christ — none of which would have happened had he answered our prayer the way we wanted him to. Or perhaps we beg him to let us get a certain job, and we don’t. Then later, God opens the door for a new, even better job. God works in such mysterious ways how many times have we heard that and read it as well? Truth is He does work that way, but His words day all things come together for OUR good. There are so many times in our lives when we stop and question even though we are not to question God, we do. We wonder why God why my child, my parent, my husband, etc. I, right this minute am struggling with something that pulls so hard at my heart about one of my children, I ask God please, what can I do to help, how can I fix this?
Guess what, only by prayer by my faith, and by knowing that God’s will is over my child no matter what, I can not fix this, it’s God’s job and I have to move out of His way. Now as a Mother, it hurts so much, and God knows it hurts me because each time I’ve stepped out of His will and done things He didn’t want for me it hurt Him too, our father knows the pain we go through when someone we love has fallen off their path and gotten lost.
I will keep praying, keep believing that God is going to touch this child of mine and open his eyes to what needs to be done to get his life right with God, that is all I can do and be there for him. If you have someone you love who has lost their way know that God does hear your prayers but He works in His time, not ours. One way or another your prayers will be answered. It might not be the answer you wanted but in time we begin to see it was the right answer, God’s answer. So many of you who have followed me through the years, surely you have seen a change in me, my posts, and my desire to live a more spiritual life according to God’s will for me. As hard as it has been at times because the flesh is so strong I am still plugging away at it day by day, prayer by prayer, action by action. I do hope that these little posts here help someone, even if it is just one. I am going to continue
God Bless and have a wonderful weekend
