Tonight is a time to reflect on 20 of some incredible years in this home, aline with aomw of the hardest days of my life, contemplating the bittersweet moment of taking down the tree and putting it away for the last time here. So many precious memories, the good, the bad, and the ugly, have shaped me into the person I am today. I used to think I couldn’t leave this house because it held so many memories, until I realized that my peace of mind was what truly mattered, and that my memories would always be with me, carried in my heart wherever I go. I love this home, but it’s time for a new chapter. Too many stairs, too many rooms, too much to clean, and too much to heat and cool, have made me realize that it’s time to simplify my life. As I’ve shared with you, I’m having the hardest time finding a new home within my budget of $160,000, without having to take on debt, simply because I have no debt, but my Social Security isn’t huge. With faith and perseverance, I know that this too shall pass, and good things will take the place of the sadness. Wishing you all a blessed 2026, may all your dreams come true, may your health be optimal, your wallet be filled, and your lives be filled with joy and purpose.
