His Word Tells Us to Love One Another-

Please follow and like us:

Yesterday I talked a little about forgiveness and what that feels like to have true forgiveness in your heart. Today- it is about Love I am just sharing and I hope someone enjoys my thoughts here.

Love is the strongest emotion we experience. It impacts every aspect of our lives – from how we feel about God to how we interact with those around us. In our culture love can be sentimental and fleeting, but what does the Bible say about love? What does it mean to love God, and how do we show God’s love to others?

Well, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, says- Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. Just a reminder today that God is Love, we are to show love and be love, to all.

In order to show Love at all times I think we need to Love ourselves as God loves us. Not a worldly but the Love of Christ in us. He loves us no matter what and we have to accept ourselves imperfections and all, just as He does. When we get to know Christ and have that personal relationship, He shows us His love for us in many ways, we have to learn to love ourselves through Him. Then loving others comes easy. True Story!

Wishing you all a Blessed Tuesday
