About 4 weeks ago, Mr. Shabby, Terry, from Mama Katt’s Kitchen and myself were in Lowe’s. I saw the very Christmas Tree I loved. Now, let me tell you that I had not replaced my Christmas in 27 years, yep, 27 years. That afternoon my youngest son and my daughter-in-law stopped by with Jackson, my precious grandson. They told us they had just come from Lowe’s looking at Trees. I said OH, I found the one that I loved so much but, I won’t buy it. My son said, Mom, it’s been years, buy it. I said no, I will use the one I have for one more year. They had heard that for the last three years. He said we saw them at Lowe’s this afternoon, which one was it, I said, it was called Candlewood, that was its name on the card hanging on the Tree.
I thought ok, they are looking for a new Tree and I think they would love that one, too. The next AM Saturday, my son called early and said were out and about so we are going to stop by. I said, ok let me get dressed. I heard my front door open by the alarm, it said “front door.” I went to the foyer and there they all stood. My son, my daughter-in-law, and 2 of the 4 kids. My son said Mom come here. I said ok and walked through the gate. There in my living room was “THE TREE.” They both hugged me and said Merry Christmas, and Happy Birthday.
I’ve never been so surprised, and never dreamed I would get that Tree, but I sure loved it and am so grateful to them both for such a great surprise. So, I am sharing one photo for now, with more to come. And no, my ceilings are not dirty lol, it’s the shadowing or the angle at that I took the photo. 🙂 Mr. Shabby, pointed that out, (men) I am in love with this tree. Since my living room is mostly white, and Farmhouse style, I think! I wanted that Farmhouse look, on my Christmas Tree. My sweet friend Jackie from The Old Post Office gift shop, located in Springville Alabama came by to show me how to tie the bows, she is such a great lady, and I so appreciate her for showing me.
I’ll be sharing more of the living room etc. Have a wonderful Sunday afternoon. Remember, I said I was going to enjoy Thanksgiving this year, then put up my TREE. But, my son and his wife and the kids not only bought it, but delivered it. My son came back 2 days later and put it together for us. We are so blessed, we thank God, for them, our kids, and a “precious daughter-in-law” for sure… I will also be sharing Jackie’s site for her pretty gift shop in Springville, Alabama. She does ship, and you might see something you can not live without. So, as the title says “Stay Tuned”
