Hello, just a thought on Seasons in our lives for you today. Short and to the point. I wish you all a blessed Tuesday.

A Message of Hope- God has ordained seasons in your life. It’s easy to get frustrated when our dreams aren’t coming to pass on our timetable. When that happens, we have to submit our plans to Him and trust that He has a better plan. Understand that in God’s kingdom, every season is not harvest. There are plowing seasons. There are planting seasons. There are watering seasons. And sure, we would love for every season to be one that created nothing but happiness and joy for us. In this life when we learn that seasons come and go and we learn to embrace each one as they come we live a life of peace. God is the one who directs each season we pass through in this life. He is the season creator as well as the creator of all things!

Love,

Debbie

  1. Seasonal blues can get you down. Think of all the good in each day and it will lift your sprites. Merry Christmas

    1. The weather is a huge factor for me SAD is real and it is not fun. I try hard to look at my blessings not my trials. God is good and this too shall pass. I hope your Thursday is a good day. I have a lunch date with my favorite little guy, grandson.

  2. I have had a lot of different seasons in my life, some good some not so good but God has brought me through all of them. Praise God!

  3. Although we may not understand now, God’s timing is always the best because He knows what’s best for us (we think we do). We need to trust & wait on His timing. I know how difficult it is, because I have been waiting years for some of my prayers; but I know God loves them even more than I do. There is beauty & blessings in every season of our life.

    1. Thank you, Debera, for your commenting and helping me keep this blog and m what was once such a passion of mine alive. I pray one day that passion is totally restored. I do still love sharing here and so many thoughts come to mind that I want to share in love here. Have a blessed Wednesday.

  4. Amen Debbie, God is in control of everything. I thank Him for waking me up each day, for the air that I breathe. I just got over the flu, I was so sick I didn’t know if I ould make it but here I am on the mend. I thank God for making be better, God Bless you Debbie, I hope you have a very nice Christmas.

    1. Cheryl, I am glad to hear that you are on the mend. Sometimes we can be so sick we think Lord Im not sure I’ll see the other side of this. But, He pours out His mercy on us and heals us once again. What a gracious God we serve. Have a good day and take care of yourself.

      1. So true, Debbie ! Both your post and the responses as well. We’re in waiting season but we can see God moving everyday. 🙌🙏🏻🙌

        1. LeeAnne, many times in my life I felt like I was in the holding season as you put it. I have to admit I did not see God working, but I knew He was. He came at His time and waiting can be the hardest trial ever, not knowing the outcome but still knowing God’s will is what we want in all situations. Have a blessed Thursday

  5. Our Timing vs. GOD’s Timing

    You are so correct, ….
We pray, ask, desire, and WANT (not necessarily NEED) and then we must Trust and Wait.
“They that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their Strength”. We Americans do not seem to be very good at waiting ~ Yet, God knows before we ask, and will answer in HIS time & with what he knows is BEST for us.
As children, it is Very hard to wait… as we age into out 60’s, 70’s and 80’s….. it is still hard!!.
“Patience is a Virtue” ~ I am still working on that daily, and knowing that the working on it is for my own Good ~ as God is GOOD, loves us, and promises HE will NeVeR leave us!
    Do YOU Trust and Believe?
TEACH your young one’s WELL …..PATIENCE & TRUST….. learning when young is much easier than when old!
Blessings to you Debbie, and Thank you for sharing! 💗🙏

  6. I have been reading Paul’s books in the New Testament and I have learned that no matter the season, circumstances that I am in I will choose joy and with that comes peace

  7. Yes, we would like all of the seasons of our life to be joyfuk, but it’s through the hard seasons that we come to more appreciate the joyful seasons. Yet, I’m in my early 70s now, and trying to figure out my purpose in these last years that I hav left, and finding it difficult to find the joy. Sounds like you might be feeling that way as well.

    1. Carolyn, I always get SAD in the Winter, now I was diagnosed years ago with SAD, “Seasonal Affective Disorder” where you are more blue, or sad without any reason. It is awful and I started ever early this year it usually doesn’t hit me until January. Spring will come and this too shall pass, Praise The Lord- Have a good afternoon, just say Im here and I am going to be joyful in my spirit. I know easier said than done but, if you say it and pray it enough Gid does lift it. Amen
