“You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; My God turns my darkness into light.” – Psalms 18:28

I sit here at my computer today, wanting to type, but not really knowing what to say. So many things and people are on my heart, with so little that I know to do to help. The world as a whole, as well as our little worlds around us, can look so very dark at times. And so, I do the only thing I can: I go to God’s Word for reassurance of who He is. I remind myself of all that He’s done, and I find hope in all that He is able to do. If you are in that place today, read over this list, mark these verses in your Bible, and know, without a doubt, that these things are true and can be trusted:

The Lord is here in our midst. In the middle of dark, messy, incredibly painful things. I know that He illuminates the darkness when nothing and no one else can Zeph 3:17

  2. Debbie, thank you so much for your kind and inspiring words. Sometimes I feel like my heart will explode because of some of the things that I fear!! I go to God in prayer and ask that His Will Be Done. Recently my daughter was going through some rough times and I reached out to her a lot. I had to get through to her and make her see the light. I prayed many times during the days. She realized what I was saying and has gotten better. God is always right there!! Love you sweet friend 🙏🏻❤️

  4. This is such a good one and as always, just what I need to hear. I continue to have health issues, so my small world has been depressing. And our big world, it’s just a mess. But we know from the Bible, that things will get worse and worse in the end times.
