Debbie, your sense of style and decorating, would be an amazing channel on YouTube! I love all that you share on Facebook, I just cannot keep up with the algorithm. I am glad that you have heard of Little Poet and enjoy her channel too! 🙂 Reply
Oh what a story! So funny but I’m sure it wasn’t funny to your grandmother! I can’t wait for the rest of the story! 🌷💕 Reply
No, she was embarrassed I’m sure as Mr. Norwood had no grandchildren, and my grandmother had several. But, I was the only one she kept while my mother worked. So, Mr. Norwood was close to me, and I him. I’m sure he told my grandmother after it was all said and done no harm no foul… He was my buddy and always brought me a surprise when he went alone to the store, always! I was lucky to have so much love and widsom on my side then. Reply
Debbie, your story is so precious! This reminds me of the happiness of those easy going days, growing up! Recently, I came across a channel on YouTube called : Little Poet and this lady, Susan is 68 and will talk of her childhood and memories, and I just love it! To share where we came from and our history that gave us our values in life, is absolutely timeless…. and precious! Thanks for sharing. Reply
I love and watch her too. She is such a talented lady, I have often wished I was that talented to have a YouTube channel like hers. Her music background and photography alone is awesome. The calmness of her voice is relaxing within itself. Thanks for reading my little tidbit of life. Reply
Oh my, that is such a sweet and hysterical story! How could they possibly be upset knowing the intentions of a sweet chikd trying to make amends?! 💕 Reply
Thank you, Carolyn, I was an only child until I was 7 and we thought I would be so I was maybe a little rotten, but still made to mind. I was strong-willed, and have tried hard to give that to the Lord and let His will be mine. Reply
I remember this story, Debbie! 😂Such a sweet, young child just trying to be nice! Great story telling!❤️ Reply
I still love to read this story. I hope to see more of your stories in the near future. Love you ❤️ Reply

I truly hope to get to that soon, so much going on in my life yet again so rewriting this story brought me some peace in my heart. My original story was lost on here somehow, but now it is back. Reply
I love your stories! You write like I imagine you talk! It’s like we’re sitting on the porch over a glass of iced tea! Reply
I signed in but did’t hit the arrow to be notified by email of new post! I guess that is why I haven’t gotten notifications. Reply
Oh my gracious!! I can’t wait to read the next chapter. This brought the biggest grin on my face when thinking about some of the things that I did. I love to read your memories and stories. I hope you’re feeling much better. Reply
Thank you, Elaine. 2020 did not start out to be my friend, lol. But, God’s grace and hanging onto HOPE got me through the 4-week sickness. Well, with the 3 rounds of antibiotics, tuck. I am so looking forward to Spring, I think. Have a wonderful Sunday. Love, Debbie Reply
I need to get inspired these days, I have so many, like all of you. When you’re 65 you have lots of stories. Love you, sweet friend.
