1 cup peanut butter
1 cup white sugar
1 Egg
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Combine the peanut butter, white sugar, and egg. Mix until smooth.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 6 to 8 minutes. Do not overbake! These cookies are best when they are still soft and just barely brown on the bottoms.
Love the recipeš
Oh, Sherry so do I.
Enjoy them.
I have made this recipe for year. When my hubby was in the Army I would bake him dozens of the old fashion recipe it’s his favorite cookie. I still make them for him. Great recipe and easy.
They are really good, warm or cold. I put mine in the refrigerator and eat them cold. After I have eaten my belly full of warm ones LoL

I love peanut butter cookies! But, I can no longer eat peanuts due to allergy! Never had a problem till I was diagnosed with being gluten intolerant!
Susan, I have issues with gluten as well, but, thank goodness I can still eat PB but not a lot of it. I can eat two of these. My family eats the rest when I make them. They are so delicious.
The things we endure as we age a bit, huh?
Love,
Debbie
