Winter Storms

Please follow and like us:

Good evening, all. I hope this post finds each one of you with power. So many of our followers are without power still tonight as I write this. We got a little snow even here in Alabama. That is something for us. We usually get ice storms that make the roads impossible for driving.

It’s funny how many up North think we can drive in the snow. We can, but it is usually slush, we bring in the deep South is humid most of the time, therefore our snow is not dry power but shush that turns to ice. That is what makes bridges, and many roads and highways almost impossible to travel in.

I am thankful that we did not get any of that in our area, but extreme North Alabama did. Winter is not over yet, I think that Spring might be late in her arrival this year. Not a surprise, we have been locked in for so long, and like so many of you are just ready for life as we knew it. It will be 54 here Sunday, so, that will be a heatwave to the 20s for daytime highs this week. We are warming up a little bit more each day. I have shared before that I am not a Winter person. As I get older I loathe Winter more and more for that reason.

My bones hurt when it is really damp and cold and I have a time getting warm. My kids and Mr. laugh at me. How many of you know what I mean about being chilled to the bone? That’s how I feel a lot in the Winter. Just stopping by to check in on all of you, again I pray that if you were without power, you now have it back and are staying warm. See you on the page.

Love,

Debbie
